OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Interdisciplinary Conference on Social Norms
2 day conference: 7th March: 9am-6pm & 8th March: 10am-3pm
Scholars across the humanities and social sciences identify social norms and the dynamics
associated with them as both an explanation of other phenomena and an object of study in their own right. However, there is still insufficient dialogue across different disciplines studying social norms, and across theoretical and empirical approaches in particular. The aim of this two-day conference is to foster such dialogue. It will bring together scholars from across the humanities and social sciences who are working on social norms, thus promoting greater interdisciplinary conversation and collaboration in this area.
