OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
DANSOX and TORCH present two evening of work, Remembering Sir Robert Cohan.
Following the official end of the TORCH KE Grace, DANSOX is extending the enquiry with events that continue the discussion of Dance as Grace: Paradoxes and Possibilities. Choreographer, dancer, and director Yolande Yorke and Yorke Dance Project honour the work of the late Sir Robert Cohan, whose ideas on grace Yolande will present.
On 29 October, the second of the two evenings, live dance will be followed by a special screening of Cohan’s Lockdown Portraits – the last series of solos he created – and discussion with the director of the film. This follows the showing of live excerpts from ‘Canciones del alma and Communion’ by live dancers on 28 October.
