'Female Missionary; A Challenge for Two Nations
Dr Reid Trulson, author of Charlotte Atlee White Rowe: The Story of America’s First Appointed Woman Missionary will be talking about the amazing and awe inspiring Charlotte Atlee White Rowe in his talk, ‘Female Missionary; A Challenge for Two Nations’.
Charlotte faced a great deal of discrimination, loss and grief in her life, but her determination, strength and faith drove her forward to become America’s first appointed woman missionary, travelling to India in 1816, becoming a teacher, a translator, a missionary and more.
