Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Talks in Contemporary Art at the Ruskin presents artist Ayo Akingbade. Akingbade will offer an insight into her current artistic practice and recent projects. She works predominantly with film and installation, addressing themes of power, urban space and stance. Akingbade engages with the fluid boundaries between the self and the other by gathering local and cultural experiences in intimate and playful interpretations. She lives and works in London.
