OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Physician Associates in Rwanda, the US, and Ireland

Lisa Mustone Alexander EdD, MPH, PA-C, currently serves as a Professor in the Physician Associate Studies Department at the RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences, where she is the director of the only physician associate programme in the Republic of Ireland. She is Professor Emeritus from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington DC (USA).
Lisa has a long record of service as an international clinician and medical educator. She has facilitated the growth and development of physician associates and clinical officers in the United States, South Africa, Rwanda, and Ireland. Her insights into international workforce development and challenges in the post-COVID healthcare environment will be discussed during her presentation.
