On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

We are pleased to announce the launch of the “Politics Scriptorium” on Mondays! Join us from 9a.m. to 12p.m. in the Large Lecture Room in Nuffield College to conduct your research or writing. The scriptorium, which literally means “a place for writing,” will provide a shared study space and a loosely structured schedule for Masters students in the Department of Politics and International Relations. Msc and MPhil students from European Politics, Political Theory, International Relations and Comparative Government are invited to attend.
The day will open with a round of introductions at 9 a.m., a coffee break at 10:30, and close with a group lunch at 1:30 (please bring your own lunch). Students are welcome to join at any point. Come prepared to focus, in the company of other students of politics!
