OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Bhanu Kapil is the author of six books, most recently How To Wash A Heart (Pavilion), the winner of the TS Eliot Prize. A British edition of Incubation: a space for monsters is forthcoming from Prototype in 2023. A non-identical U.S. edition is also forthcoming from Kelsey Street Press. Currently, Kapil is writing poetry for The Glass Mosque, a three-year collaboration with artist Shahzia Sikander, composer Vijay Iyer, and cultural critic Fred Moten, curated by Yasmeen Siddiqui for Minerva Projects in New York. A Fellow of Churchill College, Kapil is now based in Cambridge.
