Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Bhanu Kapil is the author of six books, most recently How To Wash A Heart (Pavilion), the winner of the TS Eliot Prize. A British edition of Incubation: a space for monsters is forthcoming from Prototype in 2023. A non-identical U.S. edition is also forthcoming from Kelsey Street Press. Currently, Kapil is writing poetry for The Glass Mosque, a three-year collaboration with artist Shahzia Sikander, composer Vijay Iyer, and cultural critic Fred Moten, curated by Yasmeen Siddiqui for Minerva Projects in New York. A Fellow of Churchill College, Kapil is now based in Cambridge.
