OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

Gemini Pro Pilot Showcase
Colleagues are invited to join this Gemini Pro Pilot Showcase and Wrap-Up Event, run by the AI Competency Centre in collaboration with Google, featuring a Live Innovation Showcase where you can experience the highlights of the Gemini Pro GenAI pilot. This is a six-month long pilot programme investigating the benefits and use cases of Google Gemini Pro, the premium version of Google’s generative AI chatbot, in the University context. Oxford colleagues who took part in the pilot, from teams across the University, will be demonstrating how they have started applying Gemini across teaching, research, and professional services, through practical examples. Come along to gain inspiration, learn from their experience, and contribute to discussions about what comes next.
