Map Readings: ‘Time in maps’
We continue our Map Readings series by considering ‘Time in Maps: From the Age of Discovery to Our Digital Era’ published in 2020 by the University of Chicago Press. We plan to show our audiences some of the latest literature in the history of cartography, to tease out the arguments of the books, and their implications, and where they’ve led their authors. This book considers ‘how maps from all over the world have depicted time in ingenious and provocative ways.’
