OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

Mayflower: Fleeing Persecution Then and Now
Journalist and broadcaster whose work has been published in Tatler, Vogue, The Times and The Spectator; author of a biography of Charlotte Bronte and past President of the Bronte Society. Her new book follows the families who sailed on the Mayflower shedding new light on the perils of the crossing and settling in the wilderness.
