Clinical investigations involving medical devices
A clinical physiologist by training, Dr Peter Wall has been involved in all aspects of the development and clinical validation of medical devices for over 30 years. In the early part of his career he worked in both academia and the NHS undertaking pioneering work developing microsensors for physiological monitoring in oncology.
In 2002, Peter co-founded Europe’s first medical device incubator company, raising £6m in venture funding and developed a number of diverse medical device technologies before setting up his own expert consultancy in 2008.
Peter is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and a Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences. He was a co-recipient of the prestigious Cutler’s Surgical Prize and Clarke Medal from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2014.
