Results from the TIGTHAT project
In this talk Dr Woodcock present results from the TIGTHAT project. TIGTHAT was a Global Challenges Research Fund foundation award from 2017 to 2019.
In TIGTHAT we have been laying the basis for a global city level health impact assessment model of transport, covering physical activity, air pollution, and road traffic injuries. Results from scenarios for the initial four case study cities will be presented: Delhi, Bengaluru, Sao Paulo, and Accra. For each city we will present initial results of value of information analysis, indicating the most important uncertainties. Ongoing and future work will be introduced, including on the potential for big data to fill in data gaps in travel patterns and a brief description of Dr Woodcock’s new project GLASST, an ERC Consolidator Grant
