OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. This event aims to demystify the inner workings of academic-industry partnerships by
sharing insights from innovation experts and case studies from current postdoctoral fellows
that are collaborating with industry.
By the end of this session, you will: – Learn how academic-industry partnerships work (e.g. approaching a company, navigating IP, ownership, independence, openness, etc) – Hear what collaborating with industry is like – Understand how to establish your own industry links for partnerships and where to look for existing opportunities
