OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

Gerard Manley Hopkins (1844-89), scarcely published in his own lifetime, is now considered one of the great poets of his era. His poems have a rich vision and a unique voice whether in joy or in desolation.
We’ll take a few poems and appreciate them in the context of his Christian and Jesuit vocation, and his lifetime spiritual search.
