Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
Dr. Julia Muravska will be speaking on ‘Civilians at War: Civil Society and the Defence of Ukraine’. The event will be in the Old Library at All Souls College at 8:30pm. A wine reception prior to the talk will begin at 8pm.
Dr Julia Muravska is a Visiting Senior Research Fellow at the Freeman Air and Space Institute (FASI) at King’s College London (KCL). Her research specialisation is in defence industry and innovation, and she has worked in a variety of forums including policy and advisory work, management consulting, academia, and nonprofits. Dr Muravska obtained her PhD and MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and since early 2022 has been contributing to the construction of a defence innovation ecosystem in Ukraine.
