Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
The next meeting of the Digital Education Technologies User Group will be held on Wednesday 9 March from 10–11.30am on Teams.
All staff at Oxford are invited to attend.
You can find out more about the User Group on the Centre for Teaching and Learning website at ctl.ox.ac.uk/digital-education-technologies-user-group.
In addition to providing updates on new developments and upcoming improvements in digital education technologies at Oxford, the meeting will have a special focus on hybrid teaching and FIT.
This is your opportunity to ask questions and seek advice from other users and digital technology experts.
We do hope you can join us.
All staff are also invited to take part in a consultation to provide feedback on a draft of the University’s Digital Education Strategy 2022-26. The consultation closes on Friday 11 March. You can find out more on the Centre for Teaching and Learning website at ctl.ox.ac.uk/digital-education-strategy.
