OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Choosing the (Not So) Obvious: Careers Outside the Box
Career opportunities for researchers are vast and diverse, yet often elusive.
In this session speakers from a variety of research backgrounds will share their journeys into unique and slightly unconventional careers outside of academia. Spanning Humanities, Social Sciences and STEM, speakers will share their experience and advice of how to make career transitions from one background into careers beyond their immediate area of focus.
