Cringe Free Networking – What, Why & How?

Few of us like the idea of ‘networking’. But we know that forging good relationships helps us understand how things work in new spheres of research or employment, and can open doors. Come along for an hour of myth-busting insights into the hidden job market and tips on effective networking through various mechanisms including social media. Feel free to bring your lunch.

Networking for Researchers (following on from ‘Cringe Free Networking’)
Wednesday 17th January, 14:00 – 15:00 at the Careers Service

Following on from Cringe Free Networking, between 2pm and 3pm there is a second, optional hour specifically for Researchers. This is an opportunity to ask your questions as an early career researcher about networking within academic circles, or as a bridge into related policy, industry or service sectors. If you are interested in attending Networking for Researchers, we recommend also attending the Cringe Free Networking workshop.
