Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. The prominent Russian journalist and political commentator Andrei Kolesnikov will be joining us online from Moscow to discuss his new book published by Polity. The talk will be followed by Q&A with the author.
Andrei Kolesnikov is a political scientist and columnist for the Russian version of Novaya Gazeta, one of the few Russian media outlets that have stayed critical of the Kremlin. He lives and works in Russia.
