OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. TS Eliot Lecture 2023 with Lyndall Gordon
The acclaimed critic and biographer Lyndall Gordon was present at Princeton Library when T.S. Eliot’s letters to Emily Hale were finally unsealed. They formed the basis of her much praised book, The Hyacinth Girl. Tonight she will speak, for the first time since the letters were made publicly available, on “T S Eliot’s Secrecy: Disguise and the Hidden Drama of Emily Hale”
