Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. This seminar seeks to explain the competing and sometimes conflicting aspirations of the Ethiopian State, and its outcome as it has been displayed in the recent popular protests and demands. It further takes stock of the ongoing political experiences in the country with a goal to predict plausible and rational political paths the country needs in its democratic bids.
