Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. In a time of interconnected crises, and with economic growth and housing firmly on the Government’s agenda, how can we transform places through heritage? Is it possible to address aspects of the housing crisis and respond to the climate emergency by developing sustainable places that provide for future communities as well as supporting and enhancing existing ones? How can we enable active community involvement in shaping places and community-led development? And last but not least, how do we focus on design, affordability and variety in both rural and urban communities?
