OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Accelerating clinical research for epidemic infectious diseases
The Epidemic Diseases Research Group is part for the Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health and runs a series of programmes and studies on epidemic infectious diseases both in Europe and in low and middle income countries. Peter Horby will present an overview of the current work of the group, which includes research on acute respiratory infections, Lassa fever, Ebola, plague and non-polio enteroviruses.
