OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Accelerating clinical research for epidemic infectious diseases
The Epidemic Diseases Research Group is part for the Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health and runs a series of programmes and studies on epidemic infectious diseases both in Europe and in low and middle income countries. Peter Horby will present an overview of the current work of the group, which includes research on acute respiratory infections, Lassa fever, Ebola, plague and non-polio enteroviruses.
