OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Sustainable life skills, nature-based interventions for at-risk youth in Norway
In this talk I will tell you about my PhD project on nature-based interventions for at risk youth in Norway. I am a psychologist from Denmark, doing my PhD in social work in Norway, and very happy to be visiting geography here at Oxford. I am doing a multi-site case study of existing nature-based interventions in Norway, where I conduct participatory observations and interviews with participants (age 12-30) and practitioners. Additionally, I am currently working on a scoping review where I attempt to map the field of nature-based interventions for at-risk youth in Denmark, Norway and Sweden (including literature in English, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish). I will be sharing preliminary findings from my project, theoretical considerations and practical implications.
