OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Bible and Practical Theology symposium
- Our theme is Approaching the Bible as Practical Theologians and our key question will be ‘What does practical theological engagement with the Bible look like in practice?’
– The symposium is a BIAPT and Bible Society venture. We invite practical theologians (practitioners, scholars and students) and biblical scholars to join us in this conversation.
– Delegates are invited to bring some aspect of their work on Bible and practice to share with the group, with short papers circulated in advance. We are looking for papers that interact with the biblical text in some way.
