OxTalks is Changing
Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.

Resilience building in the Anthropocene: the case of least developed countries, a lecture by Professor Pauline Dube, ACU Visiting Fellow.
Professor Pauline Dube is Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Science at the University of Botswana (UB) with a PhD from the University of Queensland, Australia. In 2012 she held a Visiting Research Fellowship position at the National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility (NCCARF), Griffith University, Australia. Pauline is a global environmental change scientist with teaching and research areas extending to social and biophysical aspects of the environment including applications of Remote Sensing, land degradation/desertification, wild land fires, energy and environment, gender and environment, impacts of climate change, vulnerability and adaptation, sustainable development, and environmental hazards and disasters. She contributed to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change assessment reports which received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.
