Competing risks analysis of time to in-hospital death or discharge following admission to a large urban neonatal unit in Kenya
A Retrospective cohort study using Kaplan-Meier and Competing Risks survival analysis will be presented. The competing risk method provides better estimates of time to in-hospital death compared to Kaplan-Meier analysis. These data are likely to be applicable to district hospital level neonatal units in low resource settings
