Join us for the next session in our Venture Bites online series, hosted by the Oxford Saïd Entrepreneurship Centre.

In todays fast moving AI application market there are a myriad of options available to startups and small businesses which can be used when scaling functions like finance, analytics, HR, IT and more.

But its not a silver bullet and ensuring the company has the right foundation and approach is critical to be successful. In this session we will spend some time talking through the successes and failures in scaling and the current approach & tools being used across the DVx portfolio in tackling this challenge.

Chris Hutton connects the dots between the numbers and the real world, and establishes actionable insights. A seasoned finance professional who started his career at GE on their Finance Management Program. He then joined eBay/Paypal leading Finance and Analytics for their managed partners before moving on to Carbon, a 3D printing startup where he led FP&A, International Operations and Analytics.

Most recently he has served as VP Finance for Caffeine, a live streaming app where he oversaw all aspects of finance, legal and compliance and led a $120M Series D raise during COVID. Chris also is a board member of Little Black Door, a female founded social wardrobe in the UK.
