#FridaysForFuture & Extinction Rebellion: How should the Scientific Community engage?
Amid school strikes, climate marches and protests around the world, there is much ongoing
dialogue among the scientific community regarding how scientists should (or should not) engage
with climate activism For example, if scientists directly participate in activist movements, does

issues, have a responsibility to lend their expertise to these movements? Please join us for a
lively discussion on potential opportunities, risks and paths forward on the relationship between
science and climate activism during these crucial times
