Network power: the humanities and data science in collaboration
Since 2017, the Humanities and Data Science Turing special interest group has encouraged communication and collaborations at the intersection of data science and the arts and humanities. This event will look back at how far they have come in building infrastructure, knowledge, and communities of practice, and look ahead to what’s next. What is the role of the humanities in an increasingly datafied world? What forms of digital scholarship and collaboration will the next decade demand? And how do they, as a network, continue to support and shape those futures? The panel brings together leading voices from landmark projects that demonstrate the impact and potential of their ethos.
Organised by the Humanities and Data Science Turing special interest group and hosted by the Centre for Digital Scholarship, Bodleian Libraries.
