OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Book Launch: Music in Twentieth Century Oxford
Join LMH Emeritus Fellow Professor Susan Wollenberg and her co-editor Robin Darwall-Smith for the launch of their new book, ‘Music in Twentieth-Century Oxford: New Directions’.
The editors will each give an illustrated talk on topics featured in the book’s chapters, focusing particularly on musical life at LMH from its early years to 1939 (Susan Wollenberg), and the Oxford Bach Choir (Robin Darwall-Smith), both of which opened up new opportunities for women’s involvement. All are welcome to attend this event.
