Negotiations for Entrepreneurs
“Negotiation is the art of letting others have it your way”
Prof Brian Mandell, Harvard

As academics and entrepreneurs, we face the challenge of persuading others that our proposition is worth their consideration, time, knowledge, expertise, reputation or money. We are constantly negotiating. In business, to navigate through the healthy scepticism of field experts, investors and potential partners requires honing our entrepreneurial negotiation skills.

Join us on Wed the 1st of March 2017 to hear from an expert in the field, Ellen J, explore the power of Negotiation by:

* Using a novel questionnaire, to diagnose your own entrepreneur negotiation style.
* Exploring how to create high value sustainable deals.
* Getting new research insights on how gender, the role of the inventor, and negotiation style factor into entrepreneurial deal-making

The lecture will be followed by networking, so whether you have an interest in innovation, possess skills or advice to offer to startups or are an established entrepreneur, we look forward to seeing you for what promises to be a fantastic evening.
