OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Join us for an engaging talk by Professor Mark Harris, Director of the Ian Ramsey Centre, on “Christ and the Quantum: Fundamentals of Theology of Science.”
Professor Mark Harris is a physicist and theologian exploring the deep connections between science and faith. Renowned as co-discoverer of spin ice in magnetism, he now focuses on the theology of science and the theological implications of quantum physics.
He is President of the Society for the Study of Science and Theology (ESSSAT), Director of the Ian Ramsey Centre at Oxford, and Co-Editor of the Routledge Science and Religion series. His work bridges physics, theology, and philosophy to understand how science shapes modern views of faith and nature.
