OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Oxford Political Review Issue Launch Event: Solidarity and Solitude
The Oxford Political Review, a termly magazine of politics affiliated with the Department of Politics and International Relations, is launching a new issue on ‘Solidarity and Solitude’. The theme explores how our political world is shaped by competing impulses: on the one hand, to act for a ‘greater good’ or feel part of a national ‘whole’, but on the other hand to act as alone – from the secrecy of the voting booth to economic self-interest.
The talk will take the form of a moderated discussion and audience Q&A. Copies of the new issue will be available for pickup at the event.
