OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

Sherrington Society: Burnout and Anxiety in Junior doctors
Dr Asta Medisauskaite is a research fellow at UCL Medical School. Her research focuses on health issues in healthcare providers. Recent publications include studies on whether occupational distress raises the risk of alcohol use, binge-eating and ill health among medical doctors as well as the prevalence of distress among oncologists. Her talk will focus on Anxiety and Burnout in Junior Doctors.
The talk will take place in the Magdalen Summer Common Room from 6-7pm Thursday, 7th November (4th week) with a drinks reception beforehand at 5:45pm.
