OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Clinical Trials and Public Involvement in Medical Research (Free Public Talk)
Karen Barker, Associate Professor in Physiotherapy, University of Oxford will talk about how studies into exercise are providing insights into bone health.
Cushla Cooper, Research Manager, Surgical Intervention Trials Unit, University of Oxford will explain how patients and the public have worked with the University to design clinical trials. From children’s fingernail injuries to broken legs in adults, patients provide valuable insight into how researchers design and manage research into new surgical techniques.
