OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Exploring Sustainability Careers: Can a Corporate Career Ever Be Sustainable?
This in-person plenary event is taking place at the Oxford Martin School with Professor Myles Allen, Director of the Oxford Net Zero initiative, Jonathan Black, Director of the Oxford Careers Service and other industry experts to ask the BIG questions about sustainability careers.
In collaboration with the Oxford Climate Society, the Oxford Sustainable Business & Entrepreneurship Society, the Oxford Climate Justice Campaign, Green Action Week and the Oxford Careers Service, we will be providing sustainable refreshments and snacks for all those attending the event in-person in a networking space after the talk.
This will provide a more relaxed opportunity to ask questions, find out how to engage with sustainability related opportunities during your time at Oxford and to discuss other careers events you’d like to see at Oxford.
Please register to attend to guarantee your space!
