OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

We are delighted to announce a two-day joint symposium between the Centre for Global Higher Education and East China Normal University (ECNU). This event will showcase cutting-edge research and foster academic communication and collaboration between scholars and students from both institutions.
Programme highlights:
16 July (ECNU Academic Presentations): Faculty members from ECNU will briefly introduce ECNU’s Institute of Higher Education, Institute of International and Comparative Education, and Department of Education, followed by presentations on their work and discussions with Oxford researchers.
17 July (Early-Career Researcher Symposium): Postgraduate students from Oxford and ECNU will share their research on higher education, comparative and international education, as well as the philosophy of education.
This two-day joint event offers a unique opportunity to engage with scholars from ECNU, to establish a shared, open, cross-cultural dialogue on the status quo and future of education, and to strengthen ties between our academic communities.
