Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. We are delighted to announce a two-day joint symposium between the Centre for Global Higher Education and East China Normal University (ECNU). This event will showcase cutting-edge research and foster academic communication and collaboration between scholars and students from both institutions.
Programme highlights:
16 July (ECNU Academic Presentations): Faculty members from ECNU will briefly introduce ECNU’s Institute of Higher Education, Institute of International and Comparative Education, and Department of Education, followed by presentations on their work and discussions with Oxford researchers.
17 July (Early-Career Researcher Symposium): Postgraduate students from Oxford and ECNU will share their research on higher education, comparative and international education, as well as the philosophy of education.
This two-day joint event offers a unique opportunity to engage with scholars from ECNU, to establish a shared, open, cross-cultural dialogue on the status quo and future of education, and to strengthen ties between our academic communities.
