Pierre-Marie Morel is Professor of Ancient Philosophy (Greek and Roman) at University Paris 1 – Panthéon-Sorbonne, Director of the research centre GRAMATA (UMR 7219) and Senior Member of the Institut Universitaire de France. His work focuses on Ancient theories of action (principally in the Aristotelian and atomist traditions), and how they relate to the other fields of knowledge (particularly physics and epistemology).
