Caroline Levine Workshop: The Activist-Scholar
Join us for an exciting workshop led by Caroline Levine on how to be an activist-scholar!
Drawing on Levine’s successful work involving Cornell University’s divestment of fossil fuels, this practical application workshop introduces scholars to ways of using formalist methodology of enacting social change.
The workshop follows a public lecture by Caroline Levine, “The Humanities and the Climate Crisis” at 2:30pm and will be followed refreshments, time for conversation, and a discussion, “The Case for Extradisciplinarity,” at 5:30pm.
This event is free to attend but please register in advance. Please enter the event space via Cornmarket Street (across from Wagamama).
This event is sponsored by the Grand Union Doctoral Training Partnership of the Economic and Social Research Council.
