OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Peter Stewart in conversation with CAREY YOUNG
Join us to hear visual artist, Carey Young in conversation with Vicegerent & Chair of the Wolfson College Arts Sub-Committee, Peter Stewart.
This talk will explore Young’s celebrated and innovative artistic practice, which investigates the tools and rituals within the disciplines of law, economics, and politics, and tells new stories about identity, gender, and power.
Young will discuss her major solo exhibition, ‘Appearance’ currently on display at Modern Art Oxford, which examines relations between women, the camera, and systems of power.
Carey Young was Wolfson Creative Arts Fellow from 2018 – 2021.
