OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Welfare in Fieldwork seminar
Join us in conversation with Jerika Loren Heinze about a wide range of ‘Welfare in Fieldwork’-related topics. Jerika is the founder of the Fieldwork Initiative, an organization that addresses sexual harassment in research fieldwork worldwide. She created the ‘Fieldwork Initiative to Stop Sexualized Trauma’ (FISST) training, which is delivered to universities, organizations, and government agencies to ensure that students and researchers are supported in prioritising their safety in their research fieldwork.
Jerika is a PhD student in cultural anthropology and her research has taken her across the globe. She is also an advocate for former foster youth in higher education.
