OxTalks is Changing

On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).

There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Southeast Asia Studies Symposium

The 2016 Symposium will feature nearly 200 papers in 80 sessions over 3 days, on a wide variety of issues facing Southeast Asia, including on the environment, sustainable development, clean energy, public health, and governance. We expect over 300 delegates, including ambassadors of ASEAN states, and other representatives of Southeast Asian business and civil society. For the first time, the Symposium also incorporates two specialised sub-fora: the Southeast Asia Investment Forum, which aims to engage businesses with an interest in the region in issues including the ASEAN Economic Community, healthcare, and political risk; and the Southeast Asia Strategic Forum on Women, Business, and Economic Growth, which tackles gender equality in Southeast Asia. You can find out more in the attached brochures or at our website, asean.ac/2016.
