OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

The Big Data Institute is pleased to launch the first in a new Machine Learning Seminar Series with a special seminar from the research team at Google Deepmind who recently brought “AlphaMissense” to the attention of the scientific world.
We anticipate significant interest but capacity is limited so we invite members of the University to register to attend this event to guarantee entry. This seminar will be in-person only and will not be recorded.
