On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

The Global Priorities Institute (GPI) seminar invites economists and philosophers from Oxford and other universities to present foundational research that informs the decision-making of individuals and institutions seeking to do as much good as possible.
We host weekly seminars on research questions relevant to our mission. These seminars are open to fellow researchers interested in the field – all are welcome. If you are interested in regularly attending our seminars, please get in touch (globalprioritiesinstitute.org/contact-us). Seminars ordinarily take place on Fridays 12.00-13.30 (unless otherwise stated) in the Petrov Room (Suite 5) at Littlegate House, 16-17 St Ebbes Street.
The Global Priorities Institute is an interdisciplinary research centre at the University of Oxford. It prioritises topics which are important, neglected, and tractable, and uses the tools of multiple disciplines, especially philosophy and economics, to explore the issues at stake.
