OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Industrial & Applied Mathematics Seminar
The Oxford Centre for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (OCIAM) is a world-leading research group in core applied mathematics. Our weekly term-time seminar series features experts in their field. Speakers cover diverse applied mathematics topics, including fluid dynamics, solid and statistical mechanics, mathematical biology, and the mathematical modeling of physical and industrial processes in a whole range of scales, spanning from the nanometric world of molecular machines to the plantery scales in geophysics. The seminars explore both theoretical advancements and practical applications, emphasizing how mathematical tools can address challenges in engineering, environmental science, healthcare, economics, and other industries.
