OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Islamicate Intellectual History Seminar Series
The Islamicate Intellectual History seminar offers a forum for examination and presentation of various topics of scholarship engaged in by thinkers of various persuasions across predominantly Muslim lands. ‘Islamicate’ incorporates not only contributions by Muslims in various disciplines, religious and otherwise, but also contributions of Jewish, Christian, Hindu or other communities within lands broadly impacted by the ‘overall society and culture associated historically with Islam’. Presenters include scholars from Oxford and beyond. Join us as we delve into the rich tapestry of intellectual heritage.
