OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Health: fresh perspectives
Thanks to advancements in technology, industry, agriculture and public health, we are living longer and more prosperous lives than ever before, but there is still room for innovation and improvement.
This lecture series will look at our health and ask: how can open science approaches in the pharmaceutical world promote drug innovation? How dangerous is antibiotic resistance and what can be done? Is AI helping or hindering our health? What are the implications of an increasing and ageing population? How does the planet’s health affect our health?
