Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. The Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development at Somerville College hosts a research showcase every term. All OICSD scholars and research affiliates present their work at one of these research showcases. Since the 2023-24 academic year, the centre has platformed researchers at Somerville College working on sustainable development issues in India.
The idea is to facilitate a productive conversation on pressing challenges of sustainable development in India and foster collaborative efforts among researchers working on these challenges.
