Koch History Centre Seminars and Events

The Koch History Centre (KHC) provides a new institutional home in Oxford for the pursuit of world-class historical research, and is based jointly in the Faculty of History and Wadham College. A different theme is chosen as the focus for each year, and a cohort of fellows brought to Oxford to work on their own project related to this theme. These fellows can be specialists on subjects across any region or period, and the hope is that they will bring with them a variety of historical methodologies and fields of expertise. The aim of the KHC seminar series is to foster multidisciplinary discussion about different approaches and methods, and as such speakers are asked to give consideration to the broader historiographical implications of their chosen project.

Seminars take place in the OKINAGA ROOM, Wadham College, unless otherwise stated.

The seminars are open to members of the University only, and the lectures are open to the public.

If you have any questions about the seminars or the Centre, please get in touch with Hollie Press at mailto:khc@history.ox.ac.uk
